1. What do you usually wear to bed, PJs or boxer shorts?
Preference is for as little as possible. Given Adelaide's very cool weather recently, t-shirt and tracksuit pants.

2. What do you do before bedtime?
Read a little, brush the teeths ..

3. What's your favourite colour of ink to write with?
Japanese stick ink black (carbon) for dip pens and a blue/black ink for cartridge style fountain pens.

4. What is the city of your dreams and why?
Can't say I have one ...

5. Who is your girl crush?
I'm not ready to admit it in public, in case she sees it.

6. When was the last time you checked out a book from the public library, and what was it?
Quite some time ago, such that I can't recall when. Probably while at Uni, which would make it a book on control systems, or switch mode power supply theory.

7. Ever cheated on someone?
Sadly, yes. Worst period of my life ever.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Flirt with them outrageously. and their partner.

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Too much, unfortunately. Work things, stupid politicians, things not going as I would like ...

10. What is your best quality?
My legs.

11. What do you wish you could eat right now?
Fresh tuna. Sliced off the bone straight to me

12. What are your guilty pleasure shows?

13. What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
Sniffling, snoring,

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Sensible, cute, cuddly and filled with awesome.

15. What’s the last song that got stuck in your head?
I can't recall. Which is a good thing really :)

16. What’s your favourite item of clothing?
The short black two-pleated miniskirt. Which [livejournal.com profile] madradish put to good use with her camera and Sydney University last year.

17. How do you see yourself?
All over the place. A helluva lot of knowledge in my brain, which is hampered in its effective use by a significantly low sense of self esteem and procrastination.

18. What's the first thing you notice in people?
Generally their eyes, and whether they smile all the way up.

19. Would you bungee jump from the Empire State Building for $10,000,000?
I've done some crazy things in my time. $10M is cheap to jump off a building.

20. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender?
No idea. They took two weeks to find a name for me to start with.

You are The Hermit

Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.

The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.

What Tarot Card are You?

I should not be let anywhere near shops.
I went down the local bunch o' shops yesterday, planning on buying some milk and bread.
I did eventually get said two items. Having been distracted by the fruit'n'veg shop and the fish market ... I was a little bit poorer by the time I made it there.
I could not resist the mangoes. Or the bananas. Even the strawberries and green coconuts had me in their thrawl. I could not leave without them! One small $30 baggie of fruits later, I stumbled out of there, to be confronted by the wide array of fresh tasty fish. I scarpered out of there cheaply. One flounder and two li'ddle mackerels later, I was only $8 poorer.
But I shall eat well!

The first five people to respond to this post, will get some form of art[0], by me, about them. I make no guarantees about quality or type, but I will assure that I will give it good effort.

The only catch, of course; as with most memes, if you sign up, you have to put this in your own journal as well.

'cause [livejournal.com profile] battblush is inspiring. (yes, dear, as the weekend just gone should prove)

What do you miss?

I miss 'cons. Especially Perth ones.
I miss all the friends I have in Perth.
I miss being able to spontaneously make icecream and inflict it on my friends.
I especially miss waking up next to the one I love.
I miss sunsets over the ocean.
I miss Opal falling asleep on my lap.
I miss all the opportunites I am bypassing, being on the 'other side of the country'.
Here's just hoping that all the ones I'm being exposed to make up for it.

This should be followed up with and antithesis of this meme. Now ... how to word it ....

phear the cuteness. ha!

I got bored and went browsing journals and discovered [livejournal.com profile] i_autumnheart, who I have not seen since she was last in Aneala with Gui and AElflead, I think, A Long Time Ago (in a Barony Far Far Away). Does everyone have a blog?
being a fellow geek, she had pointed out the Gospel of Tux, which I do now too.
nope, still not religious.

I'm at home, again, having taken yesterday off work. My sinuses are encroaching upon my eyes and my throat is threatening to explode. Not feeling particularly bright at all, which is making the finishing off of this Pegasus ... interesting. ::sigh:: has to be done though.
